Our fitness classes have exercises for everyone

Aqua aerobics

A fitness class that takes place in our beautiful heated outdoor pool. This low impact workout combines cardiovascular exercises, strength training and flexibility movements, all performed in the water. The buoyancy of the water reduces impacts on your joints, making it a great option for people who need a gentler way of working your body. Aqua classes can involve exercises like water walking, jogging, arm movements, leg kicks, and even resistance training using water weights or noodles. It's a fun refreshing way to get fit while enjoying the water!

Circuit training

Circuits is a great workout session that involves moving through a series of different exercise stations or 'circuits'. Each station usually focuses on a specific exercise or muscle group, and you'll perform a set number of repetitions or time at each station before moving onto the next. The exercises can vary, but they often include a mix of cardiovascular activities, strength exercises, and bodyweight movements. Get ready to switch it up and challenge yourself!

Fit & functional classes

Fit and Functional is a workout class that focuses on overall fitness and functional movements. It typically includes a combination of exercises that target strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. The exercises are designed to mimic everyday movements and activities, helping you build strength and mobility to use in daily life. This class often uses a variety of equipment such as resistance bands, stability balls, and bodyweight exercises. It's a great way to enhance overall fitness and feel more capable in everyday life!

Cardio & conditioning

A class which gets the heart rate up on the spin bikes, and uses light weights and body weight to target specific muscle groups. As well as strengthening core muscles! The goal is to increase muscular strength, endurance and definition. A great way to sculpt and shape your body whilst improving overall fitness.

Legs, bums & tums

This is a fun workout session that focuses on toning and strengthening your legs, glutes (bums) and core (tums). this class usually contains a variety of exercises such as squats, lunges and abdominal workouts. It's a great way to get in shape and feel energised!

Pilates

This is a type of exercise that focuses on core strength, flexibility and overall body-conditioning. In a Pilates class you'll typically perform a series of exercises that target core muscles including the abdominals, back, hips and glutes. This will often include precise movements, proper alignment and engaging the deep muscles of the core. Pilates can improve posture, enhance body awareness and build long lean muscles. It's a fantastic way to strengthen your body from the inside out!

Poolside studio cycle

AKA ‘spinning’, is a high-energy workout session that takes place on stationary bikes. This will be led by one of our great instructors who will guide you through the intensities of the hills and flats. You will pedal to the beat of energising music to get your heart pumping, burn calories and improve cardiovascular fitness. Get ready to sweat and have a blast!

Yoga

This usually involves some gentle warm up exercises and breathing techniques to help you relax and centre your body. Then you will move into a series of poses or asanas, that focuses on different areas of the body to promote strength, flexibility and balance. The instructor will guide you through each pose and make modifications if needed. There will usually be a strong emphasis on mindfulness and being present in the moment.

Strength & tone

A class which involves using low weights and body weight exercises to target specific muscle groups. As well as strengthening core muscles, flexibility and enhancing body awareness! The goal is to increase muscular strength, endurance and definition. A great way to sculpt and shape your body whilst improving overall fitness.
